In August, domestic soda ash and sulfur prices continued to rise. With the support of raw material costs, some manufacturers slightly focused on the market price of sodium sulfite. The domestic sodium pyrosulfite market price as a whole ended its continuous decline for nearly two years. In August, the overall sodium pyrosulfite bottomed out and rose by 6.02%. Affected by the continuous decline of domestic soda ash inventory, the price of domestic soda ash has been rising day by day or even more since the end of August. With the support of processing cost, domestic sodium metabisulfite enterprises have raised the factory price one after another, driving the domestic sodium pyrosulfite market price to rise sharply in September.

Since August, the prices of upstream products of sodium metabisulfite have risen in an all-round way. During the period from August 1 to September 3, the price of domestic light soda ash increased by 25.64%, the price of sulfur increased by 24.61%, and the cost of raw materials rose sharply, so the price of sodium metabisulfite increased significantly.
