The price of isopropanol in China has recovered this week. Due to the rise of raw material acetone, isopropanol enterprises are under great pressure. Some enterprises such as Dezhou Detian and Zibo NOAO choose to stop or reduce production to relieve the pressure. At present, parking enterprises account for more than half of the total output, accounting for 55% of the total output, and the operating rate of driving enterprises is less than 70%.
In the international market, isopropanol in the U.S. market fell, while the European market closed higher. The demand for disinfectants in overseas markets was relatively stable this month. The domestic market demand is general. Up to now, the negotiation range of isopropanol in Shandong Province is about 7300-7500 yuan / ton, and that of Jiangsu Province is 7800-8100 yuan / ton. The negotiation range of isopropanol in South China is around 8500 yuan / ton.
In terms of raw materials, the acetone market went up this week, with 6550 yuan / ton in East China, 6700 yuan / ton in South China, 6250 yuan / ton in Shandong and 6150 yuan / ton in surrounding markets of Yanshan. This week, the market confidence of acetone market increased greatly, but the bad news still remained: Sinopec’s three well unit resumed production, Zhejiang Petrochemical Company has not yet discharged materials in operation, and next week, Saudi Arabia will be more abundant in supply. It is expected that the acetone market will run strongly this week.
